Self- and Time Management

Effective Time-Management, Project Management basics and Life Balancing

03.05.2018 – 04.05.2018

The GRK1721 organized an Self- and Time Management Course at the BMC.

Time can not be bought, stored or stopped. Every second that passes is gone forever. In this respect it should be seen as the most valuable of all resources and the only way to maximize its potential is to use it well.

The following topics will be addressed in this 2-day course:

  • Timeline: How do I deal with time
  • Values and Goals: What keeps me on track
  • Priorities: First things first
  • Effective Time-Management: How to manage and use time
  • Project Management basics: Following the critical path
  • Catch the Time Thieves: Hunting for the “cookies”
  • Life Balancing: Dealing with stress and strain

The course will involve lectures and discussion to introduce the concepts of self- and time management as well as practical exercises and group work to develop personal skills.

The trainer is Sabine Lerch: She has 17 years experience in High-Tech Companies in different management positions. As Human Resources Manager she was responsible for the professional development of technical experts and leaders. Since 2003 she is self-employed as Trainer, Coach and Business Mediator.

Please note that it is only possible to attend a complete course.

For participation please send an email to the coordination office (grk1721@genzentrum.lmu.de).
The places are distributed on a first come, first serve basis.
